The Summit County Council is seeking one individual to serve on the Eastern Summit County Planning Commission. The Commission meets on the first and third Thursday of each month. Interested citizens must be residents of the Eastern Summit County planning district for at least one year prior to appointment. The Commission’s role is hearing land use proposals and adhering to the Eastern Summit County Development Code. 

Pursuant to Code, a vacancy is published after a current member’s term expires. If eligible, the member can reapply. All term expired members are eligible to reapply.

The Summit County Council is seeking to fill two vacancies on the Administrative Control Board of the Timberline Special Service District. Interested applicants must be registered voters within the district. The role of the Board is to provide for the public health, safety, and general welfare of the residents living within the jurisdictional boundaries of the Timberline Special Service District. 

Pursuant to Code, a vacancy is published after a current member’s term expires. If eligible, the member can reapply. Two term expired members are eligible to reapply.
