The Wasatch Back Rural Planning Organization (WBRPO) was created in 2023 to enable Summit and Wasatch Counties to coordinate long-range transportation planning efforts.
The Mountainland Association of Governments (MAG) administers the newly created WBRPO for Wasatch and Summit Counties. The RPO will develop a long-range transportation plan for the region, conduct studies, and coordinate with the Utah Department of Transportation and other entities for planning the larger transportation system.
